About Cicely M. Brooks Events & Gardening

Hey there! My name is Cicely. I’m a garden obsessed plant empath in PA (zone 7a). My gardening journey began around 7 years old in the deep South. I love plants and nature! By 2011 I began seriously growing veggies and flowers. Oh my! My biggest regret is not starting sooner. Being a plant nurturer is a lifestyle. It isn’t optional for me. It consumes me, that sounds dramatic…great! 

Jokingly I tell my husband that I want to live in a greenhouse. Yes, he thinks I'm crazy and that’s fine. Thanks to me, he’s a plant person now too, which I love.

So, gardening is my thing, like for real for real! My hope is that it will become yours too. 

During my travels, I must stop at a farmer’s market, plant nursery, or botanical garden. Bringing plants home from a road trip is very exciting!! Remember, it’s a lifestyle!
